I restarted my PC, and it still doesnt work. Please help, Ive been working on this for hours and have gotten nowhere. I got it to work for like 5 minutes but it was stuck in 640x480. When I have the scepter display connected by itself it works fine, But the second I add the HDMI into the mix, the display freaks out, it keeps connecting and disconnecting, as well as makes my computer freeze like crazy from all the re connecting. Perhaps, when you connect a USB device with the computer, the USB hub keeps disconnecting and reconnecting randomly on its own just like the following case from the internet: I recently upgraded my Windows 7 gaming PC to Windows 10, and ever since I have been having problems with my USB. Ive had the ultrawide connected for a few days no problem, and I just got in my second wall mount for the scepter display. USB Keeps Disconnecting and Reconnecting Windows 10/8/7.
Plug the PC back into the wall or flip the PSU.
Plug the monitor back on and hit the power button if it doesn't turn itself on automatically. I just got an LG ultrawide that connects via HDMI. When they don't come back, I'm stuck trying to detect displays in the display settings, unplug/replug the docking station from the SB, unplug/replug the DisplayPort cables, turning off power to the monitors for a period of time, and eventually reboot if necessary (which doesn't always work). Wait 30 seconds, grab a glass of water or something. So Previously I used a scepter monitor as my main, it connected to my RX580 via display port.
